Where to store Salesforce security token?
I am a Salesforce consultant and developer and the company i work for is moving from CloudEntr SSO which will be no longer available next year. We are looking for a good alternative that suits our needs.

I got an Okta trial last week and i really like it, however i have a question that is key for our decision.

We are not Salesforce end users, we are a consultants group and we have access to several Salesforce orgs so we want to switch between orgs with no effort, which i've seen Okta does very well, however, Salesforce also uses something called "Security token" which is basically an alphanumeric string. We need to store that string somewhere inside the app details so if someone needs to use that token (for example when creating an Eclipse project for development) they can just do copy and paste from the app stored in Okta.

So far i have not seen any place that i can use to store text notes, so the question is:

¿How can i store text notes inside an app in Okta?

Another question is ¿How do allow users to see the username and password of an application that was created by an administrator? i mean, we need them to see it and use it but not to change it.

This question is closed.
