Is there more information about Samsung Galaxy and OMM?
I'm interested in trying out Okta Mobile Device Management, but then I saw under known issues that a lot of functions won't work with Samsung Galaxy devices.  Since that's all we have this is a show stopper.  Is there any information on if and/or when those issues will be resolved?

    Hi Ralph,

Do you know if these devices support Android for Work? Do you know what version of Android they are running? What specific features do you need to support? AfW addresses several of the noted issues, and our AfW support will be EA this month.

Hi, They are mostly Samsung Galaxy S5s running Android 5.0 or 5.0.1. They aren’t specifically listed on Googles site, but they do say to contact them to ask about specific devices. The contact form on that page wasn’t working when I tried, so I’m not certain. The known issue I was referring to is actually in an Okta article about Android for Work (https://support.okta.com/help/articles/Knowledge_Article/Android-for-Work#issues) and it states: “Commands (deprovision, remote lock, reset password, etc.) do not work for Samsung Galaxy devices.” Since this was specifically about AfW I assume the problem won’t be resolved by it. All of the listed commands are important. Ralph
