sign on policy based on client type
Can sign on policy rule be configured to require/disable two-factor based on the client accessing the App? For example we use Workday and would like users using Workday via their iPhones not to be prompted for two-factor whereas users using Workday using desktop client to be prompted with two factor authentication.

I noticed that Okta has announced enhancement that is in beta with Office 365 that is similar to what I was hoping to see with other apps as well.

  • Hi Pradeep,

The evenutal goal is to extend this to a wide range of apps but currently Office 365 is the only known application which provides the metadata required to construct proper login policies.

Feel free to submit a feature request here and to Workday to help bring this desire to the forefront.
