Security Question
When a user has been set-up to use Security Question as an MFA this is not seen as "set" when resetting an MFA for particular user? if you go to a particular user and select Reset MFA the list is empty and says "no factor are currently setup for this user". why?

Also how can I set-up a policy that will require users to nominate new security question every after 30 days?

  • Hello,my name is Mircea. Basicly you are unable to see it because of the fact that you reset the Multifactor Authentificaton and in this matter you have the option to choose which one you want to use. It is not a reset for that specific multifactor attribute,it is for all of them. At the moment we do not have such an option to be prompted every other 30 days to change your security question MFA. However you can make a feature request but i can not provide you an ETA for this request. If you wish to do that you need to do the following:

     Go to support.okta.com

Click on "Go to Ideas" in the center of the screen where it says Submit an Idea

Go to the upper right side of the screen and click on "Post Idea".

Add the Title, Description and the related category and then click on "Post".

Once feature requests are submitted they are visible to other Okta admins, who can vote on them to provide more visibility.  Using this method will allow you to maintain visibility on your feature requests throughout the process.

    Thank You,
