Installing and Using Okta Mobile

It’s great to have automatic access to your go-to apps on your computer—but more than ever, you’re managing your everyday tasks from your mobile device. That’s why Okta Mobile is designed for a simple, one-click sign-on experience to take with you when you’re on the move.

 

Considerations

Okta Mobile works with many of the most popular devices, providing SSO solutions for iPhones, iPads, and Androids. For iOS, users will need version 5.22.0 of Okta Mobile. For Android, the most up-to-date version is 3.10.1.

 

Download Okta Mobile

If you want to download the Okta Mobile App for your iOS device, you can find it in the Apple App Store. For Android Devices, you can get it from the Google Play Store. All you have to do is search “Okta Mobile” or click on the following links to navigate directly to the Okta Mobile download page in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

 

Access your applications

Once logged in, your list of apps will display in a tile view. You can change the display to a list of applications via the Settings menu. Click the app icon to launch the app.

 

Change your passwords for applications

iOS Devices: Tap and hold the app icon. An App Settings screen appears displaying your username and password. If you have permissions to edit your password, the field is editable. Type in a new password, then click Done.

 

Android Devices: Tap and hold the app icon. A Settings screen appears. If you have permissions to edit your password, that field will be editable. Type in a new password, then click Save.

 

Note: Any password changes you make to an app in the Okta Mobile application will be automatically updated in the Okta service. Whether you access Okta via your desktop or mobile device, you’ll need to use the app’s new password.
