    Hello, I have few questions regarding OIG, can someone please help with this.

    1. Access to Okta Identity Governance (OIG) in a Free Trial Account

    I have set up an Okta free trial environment and would like to confirm whether OIG features are included as part of the trial.

    We are attempting to retrieve data from the Campaign/Review API endpoint. However, during the setup process, the scope okta.governance.accessCertifications.read was not available under Okta API Scopes, nor was it visible in the Admin Console.

    Could someone please clarify whether this scope (and OIG overall) is accessible in a trial account, and if not, what would be the recommended next steps?

     

    2. Clarification on Review API Response Fields

    In the Review → Retrieve a Review sample response, we can clearly see the campaignId. There is also an "id": "…", located just above the "reviewerType" field.

    Can someone confirm:

    • Is this "id" value the Review ID?
    • Can this "id" also be considered the Certification ID associated with the specific campaign?

     

    3. Last Login Information in OIG APIs

    Is there any OIG-specific endpoint that provides “Last Login — the date/time when an account last signed in” as part of its response?

    I'm looking for any official documentation that states that the v1 option for Access Requests is being deprecated or at least highly recommended not to use. Instead, we should be using RCAR. When I searched Google it told me that v1 is being deprecated.

     

    Also know that I haven't already implemented ANY Access Requests so I don't have any legacy request to worry about.

      At this time there no formal "end-of-life" date for the v1 Request Types, the current documentation establishes the v2 model as the strategic standard.

    Hi Team, we have hundreds of OIG workflows and we are making end users request different roles for many services as a owner, approver, etc through Okta groups but we have to update/refresh the okta groups from the Access Requests settings each time so the changes can reflect again and end users can request the roles. can you please let me know if there is a way to auto update?

One of the many improvements within the new Access Request feature called Resource Centric Access Requests (RCAR) is removing those manual steps as part of the building / maintaining of Access Requests.
