January 20: Ask Me Anything - Adoption of Stronger MFA
User17555118069759380198

Hello Okta Community! 👋

It's the start of a new year, and there's no better time to significantly reinforce your security posture. While Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is the most effective defense against credential theft, simply enabling it isn't enough. The true key to a secure start is achieving near-universal adoption of stronger, phishing-resistant authenticators across your entire user base.

We understand that rolling out advanced security controls is challenging—balancing the need for a seamless user experience (UX) with strict security requirements, navigating legacy applications, and driving full enrollment.

That's why we're hosting an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session with our Okta Product Expert John Cokkinias, to help you tackle these exact challenges! Ask your questions here.

Join us to learn the strategies for achieving high-assurance MFA adoption (like Okta FastPass, WebAuthn/FIDO2 keys, and Okta Verify Push) while minimizing user friction.

The AMA will cover:

  • Phishing-Resistant Authenticator Roadmap & Strategy
  • User Migration & Adoption Challenges
  • Policy, Fallback, and User Experience Management
  • Securing High-Risk and Administrator Accounts
  • Compatibility and Legacy Application Integration

How does the AMA work?

Starting today, through January 19, 2026, submit your questions by replying to this discussion thread using the ‘Answer’ button. Then, mark your calendar for January 20, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. PDT, when our Okta product expert will be online and actively responding with detailed written answers to all questions submitted during the two-week period.

:tada: As a bonus, everyone who participates will earn points and a special community badge!
