User17555118069759380198

Hello Okta Community!

We’re excited to invite you to our next Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Monday, September 29th, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. PST! This session will explore how Okta Device Assurance helps organizations enforce security requirements by ensuring that only trusted, compliant devices can access company resources. This AMA will give you practical insights into deploying, managing, and scaling Device Assurance in your environment.

In today’s security landscape, compromised or non-compliant endpoints are among the most common causes of breaches and data loss. Okta Device Assurance helps organizations:

  • Reduce risk of breaches from outdated or unmanaged endpoints.
  • Simplify Zero Trust adoption by centralizing device posture checks across platforms
  • Allow for stronger security without relying solely on device management tools.

What you can expect to gain by participating in the AMA:

  • Key benefits of Okta Device Assurance
  • A clear understanding of how device context strengthens Zero Trust authentication
  • Insights into how Okta enforces device posture signals (e.g., OS version, encryption, screen lock) during sign-in
  • Guidance on end-user remediation workflows when devices fail compliance checks

How Does the AMA Work?

Starting today, September 10th, through Friday, September 26, 2025, submit your questions by replying to this discussion thread using the ‘Answer’ button. Then, mark your calendar for Monday, September 29, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. PST, when our Okta product expert will be online, providing detailed written responses.

As a bonus, participation will earn you points and a special badge! 🎉

What You Can Ask About

Not sure where to start? Here are a few examples to help spark your questions:

  • How does Device Assurance work with ITP?
  • How does Device Assurance work for unmanaged/BYOD devices versus MDM-managed devices?
  • What's on the roadmap and how can feedback help shape it?

These are just a few examples - we welcome your unique use cases, challenges, or curiosity, no matter how big or small.
