Welcome to the Okta Community Newsletter

Hello everyone! As we move into the autumn season (my favorite!), we want to welcome you to our first newsletter for the Okta Community. The Okta Community team has been busy ensuring we provide you with a great community experience. OKTA IDEAS UPDATE


Thank you to our passionate and loyal community of Okta users for taking the time to submit feature requests/Ideas. Your feedback helps shape the product roadmap, ultimately making Okta products and solutions better for everyone. With that said, we have some exiting updates to share. Over the last 4 months, 524 new product ideas were submitted by customers and partners. Of these new ideas 33 are on the product roadmap and 8 have been released. Our customers play a huge role in how we develop our products, so thank you for your continued feedback.

    I really like the idea of a monthly newsletter and your execution of the first edition is great! I have two suggestions for your consideration. 

     

    1. Have a summary punch list in the monthly announcement email similar to how "Okta Release Notes" emails that are sent out when a new version of Okta is released. In the release notes I like that I can quickly see different areas of change and can then click the link to the website if I want to dive deeper. 
    2. Make sure the content you provide links to is up to date. The link to the "Okta’s Certification Program" takes you to a post from Aug 15, 2022 which is not that old but has time sensitive information that is out of date.

    It's so exciting to see this new community resource providing the community with all the buzz and happenings in and around the community! Love the 'game on' where we get to reward and recognize customers and community members! Along with member spotlights - - great to see your name in lights! Don't forget the product release monthly highlight reel! My biggest excitement is around the Okta Customers Success Hubs - - helps customers get the most out of Okta!

    Really good stuff here! Make sure to check it out! Would love to hear what our community members are most excited about!
