How is it August already? This year is flying by! As I mentioned in my previous blog post, we’re adding elements to the Community that will provide you with more engaging experiences, motivations to interact, and opportunities to earn points and badges for your contributions. 

 *drumroll please* I’m thrilled to announce our Okta Community Catalysts program, launching this week! Here's everything you need to know:

What is the Okta Community Catalysts program?

The Okta Community Catalysts program encourages our elite contributors to lead the way by lending their expertise, knowledge, and best practices to our growing online Community. Ultimately, they will help our Community flourish. And, in doing so, Community Catalysts will be recognized and rewarded for their time and effort.

What benefits do I get as a Community Catalyst? 

• Elevate your personal brand and reputation with a special community badge, profile personalization, and Okta swag 
• Enhance your expertise with exclusive access to Okta Learning and certification programs, discounts to Okta events, and access to Okta products and solutions.  
• Stay connected with Okta experts and your peers with a private discussion group, exclusive webcasts, special member events, member spotlights, and more. 
• Influence Okta product roadmap and Community direction by participating in beta testing and special round table discussions.

How do I become an Okta Community Catalyst? 

• Start by updating your profile. Share a photo of yourself (or an avatar) and information about yourself 
• Ask and answer questions in our forum to learn, share knowledge, and grow your experience with Okta 
• Engage in Community Discussion Groups by writing a post, commenting, or liking something 

Okta Community Catalyst status is awarded for a one year period. New and renewed Community Catalysts will be appointed by the Okta Community team based on their contributions in the last 12 months.
