Overview

Customer Support for free trial accounts will be offered exclusively via Okta Customer Community.

Solution

Okta is now providing support for Workforce Identity Cloud free trials exclusively through our Okta Customer Community. This means that free trial accounts will no longer be able to submit/view support cases in Support Case Management, including password resets and MFA resets.


Admins are strongly encouraged to set up at least one extra user with super admin privileges so that they may be able to self-service in case of a lockout. Otherwise, once all access is lost to the Admin Console, they will need to create a new free trial org, using a new email address.


All free trial accounts will continue to have access to a robust knowledge base and the ability to engage directly with informed peers, including Okta Community Engineers, to independently solve any support issues.
