In this scenario, the problem revolves around whether users can view the number of devices that have been configured with Okta Verify Desktop, and if there is a way to limit the number of devices for Okta Verify Desktop.

Cause
This inquiry arises from an admin's need to view and potentially limit the number of devices that can be configured with Okta Verify Desktop. It may be due to organizational policy requirements or user preferences to secure access and manage devices effectively.
Solution
  1. Viewing Configured Devices: End-users are able to view the devices that have been enrolled with Okta Verify Desktop through their settings page.
  2. Setting Device Limits: By default, the limit set by Okta for the number of devices is 10. However, if there is a necessity to set a lower limit:
    1. Navigate to Okta Workflows.
    2. Configure a new workflow to adjust the device limit as per the organizational or user-specific requirements.

NOTE: This process will not prevent additional devices from being activated. Okta workflows can only remove a device after it has been activated if it is above the limit defined in the workflow.
