Overview
This article discusses why users are not able to delete the activity from Gemini AI in Google Workspace.

Cause
Based on the Google Documentation, this issue happens for users with a work or school Google Account and access to Gemini Apps.
Solution
Gemini Apps Activity is enabled by default. For Google Accounts provided by a work or school organization, this activity setting is mandatory, meaning it cannot be disabled by the individual user, nor can associated activity be deleted. Conversation history for such accounts is typically retained for a default period of 18 months.
