Microsoft Edge warnings cite the organization domain as the host. A representative from the organization must report the false warning to Microsoft to correct the classification. Windows Defender SmartScreen includes a built-in feedback system to report false warnings quickly.

Select the unsafe website indicator in the Microsoft Edge address bar and submit a report indicating the site contains no threats.

1. In the Microsoft Edge address bar, select Unsafe website.
2. Choose Report that this site contains no threats.
3. Indicate the website owner status on the feedback page.
4. Submit the report for the Microsoft team to review.

An Alternative Reporting Method Requires a Detailed Form Submission

Access the more information menu to select the reporting option, indicate ownership of the website, and submit the completed form. The following screenshot displays the menu option to report that the site does not contain phishing threats.

1. Select More Information.
