In the Access Request Console, when trying to Save Draft or Publish a Request Type, the following error appears in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
Request Type not found
This may occur when the following steps are performed:
- In the Access Request Console, create a new Request Type.
- Publish or Save Draft of the Request Type.
- It will save successfully.
- Edit the Request Type again, and try to Publish or Save Draft.
- The error Request Type not found appears at the bottom left of the screen.

The user is not part of the Team for the Request Type and does not have sufficient permission to edit an existing Request Type.
Ensure the user attempting to edit/publish the Request Type is a member of the Team associated with the Request Type, then go back to the Request Type to edit/publish.

Verity the Team for the Request Type:
- In the Request Type, click Edit at the top.
- In the pop-up, note the Team selection.

Add the User to the Team
- On the left Pane, navigate to Teams > select Team.
- Add the current user logged in.
- Click Add member.
- Search for and choose the user currently logged in.
- Click Add User.

Edit/Publish the Request Type
- On the left pane, navigate to Access Requests > ( select Team).
- The team admin user should be able to see the Draft and Published Request Types here.
- Open the desired Request Type to edit.
- Make changes and Save Draft or Publish successfully.
- On the left pane, navigate to Access Requests > ( select Team).
Viewing Request Types Functionality Notes as a Team (admin) member:

In the left pane > Teams > select Team > Request Types tab, the logged-in (Team member) user should see the Published Request Types here, whether they are part of the audience or not.
- In the left pane > Access Requests > select Team > the logged-in (Team member) should be able to see the Draft and Published Request Types here, whether they are part of the audience or not.
