Overview
When an organization adds brands using the Multibrand feature, the Okta app appends the text "_default" to the default brand name.
Editing the brand name settings in the Admin Console removes this suffix.

Cause
When an organization introduces the Multibrand feature, Okta appends the text "_default" to the end of the brand name for the default brand.
Solution
What steps are required to remove the default suffix from the Okta brand name?
Navigate to the brand settings in the Admin Console and modify the brand name to remove the suffix.
- Go to the Okta Admin Console.
- Go to Customizations > Brands.
- Select the default brand.
- Select the Settings tab.
- Select Edit next to Brand Name.
- Modify the value.
- Select Save.
