The default Sign-In widget (2nd generation) does not offer real-time password validation. The third-generation Sign-In widget, which needs to be manually enabled, offers this feature.
The third generation of the Sign-In Widget allows end users to validate their passwords against password policy complexity requirements in real-time. It also offers the same user experience as the second generation and adds accessibility improvements in color contrast, focus management, and screen reader behavior.
The third-generation sign-in widget can be enabled by going to Customizations > Brands > [Brand] > Pages > Sign-in Page > Configure > Settings > Enable Use third generation under Third-generation widget.
