Profile Enrollment Form and Unsupported Data Type Errors for String Array Attributes

Overview
Admins may run into the following error when trying to add a new string array attribute to their Profile Enrollment Form:
The [stringArrayAttributeName] attribute has an unsupported data type. Use a supported data type to add the attribute as a form input.

Cause
String array attributes are not supported in profile enrollment forms.
Solution
If Okta Admins require a dropdown type of attribute with enumerated values, a string attribute can be leveraged instead of string array attributes.
