Overview

This knowledge article explains how to perform a password reset when user accounts share the same primary email address. If a user tries to use the primary email address to perform a password reset, nothing will happen.

Solution

The username of the user should be used instead of the primary email when performing a password reset.

In the above screenshot, the applicable usernames are example@atko.email and example@example.com.

 

NOTE: It is suggested not to use the same primary email address for multiple accounts if possible.
