Overview
This article explains why an Okta org may be missing the option to enable Send Okta application context when configuring an Identity Provider.
Applies To
- OpenID Connect Identity Provider
- Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) Identity Provider
Solution
The option to send the Okta application context to an external Identity Provider is only available in Okta Identity Engine orgs that have the Adaptive MFA SKU. If the org is still on Okta Classic or is an Identity Engine org that lacks the Adaptive MFA SKU, this option will not be available.
