This article reviews the Time-To-Live (TTL) for Okta Verify Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) Codes.

Solution
While new TOTP Codes are generated every 30 seconds, they have a TTL of 300 Seconds. This is a hard-coded value that may not be modified. In a Custom TOTP Configuration, there is also an ability to configure a Clock Drift Interval. This setting allows additional built-in tolerance time drift between the token's current time and the server's current time.
