Okta Login Displays a "Your OneDrive version is not supported" Error

Single Sign-On
Okta Identity Engine

Overview

Network configurations blocking access to the Okta Content Delivery Network (CDN) cause an error during the Okta login process. Resolving this issue requires allowing access to Okta IP addresses and enabling browser cookies. When navigating to the Okta login screen, Okta displays the following error message:

Your OneDrive version is not supported

Your OneDrive version is not supported

Applies To

  • Okta Identity Engine (OIE)
  • Okta Classic Engine
  • Single Sign-On (SSO)

Cause

Network configurations block access to the Okta CDN. This restriction prevents the login page from loading and triggers the error page.

Solution

How is the OneDrive version error resolved?

Allow access to the required Okta domains, consult the Amazon CloudFront documentation if allowing the Okta CDN URLs is impossible, and verify that the web browser enables cookies.

  1. Allow access to the required Okta domains as detailed in the Allow access to Okta IP addresses documentation.
  2. Consult the Amazon CloudFront documentation regarding the CloudFront edge server geography and IP address routing if allowing the Okta CDN URLs (*.oktacdn.com) is impossible.
  3. Verify that the web browser enables cookies.
