This article addresses the following error that occurs when using an Okta Integration Network (OIN) application in the token preview tool, or when it is configured to use the default custom authorization server or custom-created authorization server endpoints.

This client cannot use a custom authorization server.

The error is caused by configuring the Okta Integration Network (OIN) application to use the default custom authorization server or a custom-created authorization server.

Only the org authorization server can be used. To resolve this error, configure the OIN application to use the org authorization server instead of the default customer authorization server or a custom authorization server, as mentioned in OIDC/OAuth 2.0 integration limitations.
