Okta Device Events Move From the Okta Connector to the Okta Devices Connector

Overview
Okta moved all device-related events from the Okta Connector to the Okta Devices Connector in June 2024. Administrators must replace the deprecated Okta events with Okta Devices events in existing flows before December 11, 2024, in Preview and December 17, 2024, in Production to prevent the flows from failing. If the events remain unchanged after the deadline, the affected Okta Workflows stop working because Okta no longer supports the deprecated events.

Cause
All Okta device-related events have moved from the Okta Connector to the Okta Devices Connector as of 2024.05.1. Existing flows are not affected at this time, but administrators need to replace their Okta events with Okta Devices events. The cards will be identical, so it is possible to drag the same fields into the flows. All events must be replaced on the affected list by December 11, 2024, in Preview and by December 17 in Production, or their flows will stop working.
NOTE: There will be no support for these events after this date.
Solution
What Okta Workflows Events were migrated to the Okta Devices Connector?
Okta hides the device event cards from the Okta Connector. Create new flows using the identical event cards from the Okta Devices Connector. For existing flows, update the configurations to use the equivalent Okta Devices event cards. The cards remain identical, allowing administrators to drag the same fields into the flows.
