Overview
Amazon Web Services (AWS) offers Instance Metadata Service Version 2 (IMDSv2) for customers to gather information about the deployed server. This article explains whether the Okta Access Gateway(OAG) appliance is dependent on the instance metadata.

Solution
The Okta Access Gateway server is not dependent on or affected by using Instance Metadata Service Version 2 (IMDSv2). This needs to be configured on the AWS side during initialization. Okta Professional Services can be contacted for assistance during initialization or configuration.
