Access Gateway
Okta Classic Engine
All Engines
Okta Identity Engine

Overview

Oracle EBS Rapid Single Sign-On (SSO) enters a login loop when users access it via Microsoft Edge in Internet Explorer (IE) mode because the browser blocks cookies. Administrators must enable cookie sharing in IE mode on Microsoft Edge to resolve this issue. When this issue occurs, the application works correctly in other browsers, but Microsoft Edge continuously restarts the SSO flow.

Applies To

  • Okta Identity Engine (OIE)
  • Okta Classic Engine
  • Okta Access Gateway (OAG)
  • Oracle EBS Rapid Single Sign-On (SSO)
  • Microsoft Edge

Cause

Microsoft Edge blocks cookies in Internet Explorer (IE) mode, causing Oracle EBS to restart the Single Sign-On (SSO) flow repeatedly.

Solution

How is the Oracle EBS Rapid SSO login loop resolved in Microsoft Edge?

Enable cookie sharing in Internet Explorer (IE) mode on Microsoft Edge by following the instructions provided in the Microsoft documentation.
