This article addresses the behavior of the default Active Directory Password Policy when the Active Directory (AD) integration is removed.

Solution
The "Active Directory Policy" under the Password Authenticator is not a deletable option in Okta.
- The policy is no longer evaluated or applied to any users once the AD integration is removed and no AD-sourced users remain in the organization.
- The policy effectively becomes inactive even though it remains visible in the list.
