The following limitations are present when using Okta with ChromeOS:
- Okta Verify and Okta FastPass are not supported.
- Authentication rules do not recognize a device as ChromeOS if the user accesses resources through browsers such as Firefox or Opera.
- A device record is not created in Okta when a user signs in from a ChromeOS device.
- ChromeOS cannot be used in custom expressions.
- The Okta Chrome Extension can be installed on ChromeOS, but Secure Web Authentication (SWA) credential injection is not guaranteed to be supported.
