Question: Is it possible to set Office 365 WS-Federation for a subdomain without federating the root domain?
For example:
The root domain is "test.com".
It has two subdomains: "employee.test.com" and "contractor.test.com".
Is it possible to set Office 365 WS-Federation for a subdomain "employee.test.com" or "contractor.test.com" without federating the root domain "test.com"?

Solution
It is not possible to set Office 365 WS-Federation for a subdomain without federating the root domain. The subdomain can not be federated independently from the root domain in Office 365.
