Okta Classic Engine
Identity Governance
Okta Identity Engine
Overview

A Request Condition may show as "Invalid", and when attempting to edit, it will show the error:

The group defined in the access level doesn't exist anymore. Select a different group to use this condition.

Error Message

However, the group may still be active in Okta.

Applies To
  • Okta Identity Governance
  • Access Request
  • Resource Centric Access Request
  • Request Condition
Cause

The group may no longer be assigned to the application, or the Push Group has an error.

Solution

Confirm one of the following:

  • The group is assigned the application

OR

  • If the group is a Push Group, ensure the Push Group is active. If there is an error, attempt to activate the Push Group

Once one of the above is resolved, it should be possible to select the Group again and save the condition. It will need to be re-enabled.
