How to Manage the /sessions/me API Expiration Time

Overview
When navigating to https://<subdomain>.okta.com/api/v1/sessions/me, the session expiration time is shown in the expiresAt field.
The goal of this knowledge article is to present how to modify the configuration in Okta to modify the value in the expiresAt field.

- Global Session Policy (in Okta Identity Engine)
Solution
Okta Classic
- Navigate to the Admin console.
- Navigate to Security > Authentication > Sign On.
- Review the rules and check the Maximum Okta global session lifetime from the applicable Policy Rule.
Okta Identity Engine
- Navigate to the Admin console.
- Navigate to Security > Global Session Policy.
- Review the rules and check the Maximum Okta global session lifetime from the applicable Policy Rule.
