When Governance Analyzer becomes generally available in August 2026, access certification reviewers see generated recommendations, Smart Review modes, and contextual information by default. Okta provides options to hide this information or disable the machine learning (ML) recommendation model entirely to meet specific compliance regulations.

The Access Certifications settings hide Okta Governance Analyzer recommendations and insights.
Hide the recommendation and insights by navigating to the Access Certifications settings and adjusting the Governance Analyzer options.
- Go to Identity Governance > Access Certifications > Settings.
- Choose Governance Analyzer insights or Recommendation to hide the respective information.
What process disables specific insight categories?
Disable specific insight categories within the Governance Analyzer settings.
- Go to Identity Governance > Access Certifications > Settings.
- Choose Governance analyzer.
- Disable the desired categories.
The Governance AI settings disable the machine learning recommendation model.
Prevent the machine learning recommendation model from creating recommendations in the organization by clearing the feature in the Governance AI settings.
- Go to Identity Governance > Settings > Governance AI > Governance Analyzer.
- Clear the Enable Governance Analyzer recommendations option.
