How is the Okta Browser Plugin enabled for Google Chrome?

Enable the Okta Browser Plugin for incognito sessions in Google Chrome by navigating to the extension settings and toggling the allow option.

  1. Open a new tab in Google Chrome and open the Ellipsis Menu ().
  2. Select Settings and open the Extensions tab, or navigate to chrome://extensions/.
  3. Search for the Okta Browser Plugin extension and click Details.
  4. Toggle the Allow in Incognito switch to enable or disable the plugin for incognito sessions.

How is the Okta Browser Plugin enabled for Apple Safari through the browser settings?

Enable the Okta Browser Plugin for private browsing in Apple Safari by accessing the extension settings and selecting the allow box.

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Click the Safari menu in the top left corner of the screen and select Settings....
  3. In the Settings window, click the Extensions tab.
  4. Select the Okta Browser Plugin in the list of extensions.
  5. Select the Allow in Private Browsing checkbox.
  6. Close the Settings window and restart Safari.

Enable the Okta Browser Plugin for private sessions in Microsoft Edge by managing the extension and selecting the allow option.

  1. Open Microsoft Edge and click the Ellipsis Menu () in the menu bar.
  2. Navigate to the Extensions section.
  3. Find the Okta Browser Plugin under the Extensions heading in the toolbar.
  4. Click the Ellipsis Menu () beside the extension name.
  5. Click Manage Extension.
  6. Select the Allow in InPrivate checkbox.
