How to Change the Display Language of the Error Received from API Calls

Overview

This article describes how to change the display language of the error received from API calls.

Applies To

  • API Calls
  • Postman

Solution

Change the Display Language used for the service account to match the language that the error message will be presented in Postman. To update the language, please follow the steps below or watch this video:

 

  1. Log in with the service account used to generate the API Token when configuring Postman.
  2. From the End User Dashboard, click on Settings.
  3. Navigate to the Display Language option and click on the Edit button.

Account

  1. Change the current language to the one desired.
  2. Open Postman and run the needed API calls. If an error appears at some point, the error message will be displayed in the language selected.


Example: If the service account's Display Language is selected to be Spanish, the following error message will appear in Postman.
