- Self-Service Registration
Follow the steps for the video below:
- Navigate to Admin > Security > User Profile Policies, click Add Profile Enrollment Policy, and add the Profile Enrollment Policy Name.
- Locate the new policy and click on the Edit button.
- The Profile Enrollment Policy includes three sections: Enrollment, Identification, and Apps.
- Access "Enrollment" tab:
This section defines whether Self-Service Registration is allowed, whether Progressive Profile is enabled, whether Inline Hook is related, etc.
When users are created with this method, there is also the option to Add the user to group.
- Profile Enrollment Form:
The goal of the Profile enrollment form in a Progressive Enrollment scenario is to collect information about the end user and add it to their Okta user profile. Therefore, the attributes shown to the end user must already be defined in the default user profile of UD. In this section, select the attributes needed for this enrollment.
NOTE: The Add form input button shows the different attributes available; make sure to select non-read-only attributes.
Then, customize the settings for the attribute and Save.
- Applications related to this policy:
Each Policy can be applied to certain applications. In this section, click the Apps button > Add an App to this policy, select the desired applications with the Apply button, and then Close.
