This article describes how to submit an SCIM Integration to the OIN and have it use PUT requests instead of PATCH when updating users.
- SCIM provisioning integration
- Okta Integration Network (OIN)
If the SCIM integration supports PATCH requests for user operations, select the Support PATCH for User when submitting the SCIM integration to the Okta Integration Network via the OIN Wizard. However, be aware that the SCIM server must support PATCH for Group operations (provided the integration will support this functionality).
NOTE: SCIM integrations created using the Application Integration Wizard (e.g., custom applications) use PUT by default, and they cannot be reconfigured to use PATCH for updates.
