Overview
Okta supports filtering specific Workday users during an import by using Constrained Security Groups (CSG). Previously, Okta imported all users with a valid Hire Date and First Day of Work attribute value using Unconstrained Security Groups. Organizations can now limit the successful import of selective Workday users, such as contingent workers or specific business units, by configuring a CSG with limited permissions.

Configure a CSG with limited permissions in Workday to filter specific users during an Okta import.
- Review the Workday Provisioning documentation to learn how to create and configure a CSG.
- Select the configured CSG when connecting Workday to Okta to limit the imported users.
