Error "Unexpected error while fetching the org metadata: CANCELLED" in the Okta Verify Logs When Trying to Register Okta FastPass (Okta Verify)

Overview
When trying to register FastPass (Okta Verify) for a user, an unexpected error occurred within the Okta Verify logs.
An error like the one below is found in the Okta Verify logs:

Cause
This error is usually caused by a certificate pinning failure. SSL inspection may be performed, which is not allowed with Okta Verify. Please see Configure Okta Verify options for further details ("Before you begin section", especially bullet point 3).
Solution
The organization's tenant URL (for example, https://example.oktapreview.com) should be excluded from SSL inspection.
