Overview
When creating a new Protected Application in Okta Access Gateway, an error message is presented for the Public Domain field.
Invalid domain format. Requires e.g. domain.com
Applies To
- Okta Access Gateway release 2023.9.1 and below
- Public domains with Top-Level Domain (TLDs) longer than six characters
Cause
The software issue with the domain validation tool was found and addressed in OKTA-653576.
Solution
Upgrade Okta Access Gateway to version 2023.11.0 or newer.
