Value for Destination Field in SAML IdP Configuration Cannot Be Changed
Last Updated:
Overview
When trying to set up a Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) Identity Provider and inputting a value in the Destination field, it cannot be reset to blank.
Applies To
- Configuration
- SAML IdP
- Single Sign-On (SSO)
Cause
This occurs when the 'Sign SAML Authentication Requests' option is checked.
The destination needs to be set so that the Signature can be checked.
If the Destination field is left blank on the first configuration but with the option Sign SAML Authentication Requests checked, the base Single Sign-On URL will be automatically set as a value.
Solution
To fix this situation, the Sign SAML Authentication Requests option must be checked off.
