This article describes why the Manage Connections tab would be missing from the application in the Dashboard when setting up Cross App Access.

• Cross App Access (XAA)
• Okta Identity Engine (OIE)
• Manage Connections 

This tab is missing in the following conditions:

• An Okta Classic Engine tenant is used.
• The Cross App Access feature is disabled in Settings > Features.
• A custom application is used.

• This feature works only on OIE, so ensure that the tenant used is running on OIE.

• Enable the Cross App Access in Settings > Features.

• This feature only works with Okta Integration Network(OIN) by adding the following two applications from Application > Application > Browse App Catalog:
  • Agent0 - Cross-App Access (XAA) Sample Requesting App

• • Todo0 - Cross-App Access (XAA) Sample Resource App
