Overview
This article clarifies how to remove the "_default" text that is appended to the company name when additional brands are added to an organization.

Cause
With the introduction of the Multibrand feature, the text "_default" is appended to the end of the brand name for the default brand.
Solution
Admins can perform the following steps to remove the "_default" text from the default brand:
- Navigate to the Admin console.
- Go to Customizations > Brands.
- Click the default brand.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Click Edit next to Brand Name.
- Modify the value.
- Click Save.
