When integrating CAPTCHA into the Okta environment and attempting to log in, it does not allow access to the password page. An error message is displayed in the bottom right corner, which most of the time can not be fully seen and requires a Network trace to see the full error message:
This site key is not enabled for the invisible CAPTCHA
- Okta Identity Engine (OIE)
- CAPTCHA
- hCaptcha vs reCaptcha V2
This error usually appears when using a site key generated for another type of CAPTCHA on an invisible CAPTCHA setup.
To fix this error, ensure that the site key used matches the type of reCAPTCHA implemented on the forms.
If the website provides the Site key and Secret key for hCAPTCHA, make sure to also select the hCAPTCHA under the Admin dashboard > Security > General > CAPTCHA integration.
