Overview
This article discusses whether it is possible to customize the look and feel of the Smart Card (PIV/CAC) error page when a failure occurs during user authentication.
Applies To
Cause
When an error occurs during Smart Card authentication (for example, if the certificate is invalid or the user cancels the flow), the error page that is rendered is not part of the Okta Sign In Widget.
Solution
As this error page is not part of the Widget itself, it cannot be customized as part of the widget or Custom Sign In Page configuration.
