Overview
This article discusses the supported client authentication methods available for OpenID Connect Identity Providers.

Cause
Okta does not support the client_secret_basic method at this time.
Solution
At this time, Okta currently only supports client_secret_post and private_key_jwt client authentication methods for OIDC Identity Providers. Which one of these is being used depends on the authentication type.
