Authentication Issue when Using IdP Authenticator in Okta's "Edit Profile" Feature

Multi-Factor Authentication
Okta Identity Engine

Overview

This scenario occurs when a user attempts to edit their profile in the Okta Dashboard by clicking the Edit Profile button in the Settings tab. Okta then prompts the user to authenticate, and if they select the Verify with something else button, they are presented with a list of alternative authentication methods. In this case, the user chooses the IdP Authenticator method as their preferred way to verify their identity.
