Admins from time to time may need to delete a Microsoft Office 365 app integration depending on the situation, and in some instances, after deactivating the O365 application, when attempting to delete the O365 integration afterwards, this results in no effect and the application remains present on the tenant, and no error is listed.

The application cannot be deleted because at least one domain has been federated initially and must be de-federated before the application can be deleted.
To address the issue and allow the application to be deleted, please follow the steps below:
- Reactivate the O365 app integration.
- Within the Sign on methods section from the Sign On tab, revalidate the service account that was used for the domain federation.
- Change the sign on method to Secure Web Authentication.
- Confirm that provisioning is disabled and that users/groups are no longer assigned to the app integration.
- Deactivate the app.
- Proceed to delete the app.
