When creating a custom admin role/resource set, the following warning may appear:

Resource set includes resources that are not affected by the permissions in the role

• Custom Admin Roles

The most common reason for this warning appearing is that User permissions were selected in the Role, but the resource type selected in Resource Set is Group (or the other way around), which involves group management permissions and does not include the users in the group.

• If user permissions were chosen for the role, ensure to choose User as a resource type.
• If group permissions were chosen for the role, ensure to choose Group as a resource type.
• If both user and group permissions are chosen, ensure both User and Group types are contained in the resource set.
