Overview
This article explains why Okta Verify launches when a user logs in to their Mac machine when OktaVerify.LaunchOptions is set to HideMainWindow (as mentioned by Iru (formerly known as Kandji) Mobile Device Management (MDM) per documentation settings: OktaVerify.LaunchOptions)
Checking on the Profile extension, the setting was already successfully pushed down to the machine by Iru(formerly known as Kandji):

Cause
Iru (formerly known as Kandji) has a requirement to launch Okta Verify when a user logs in.
