Okta has recently enhanced our customer sign-in experience for the following Okta web resources:
Why?
Our goal is to provide a best-of-class customer sign-in experience across our Okta Web Resources, starting with the Support Center, Okta.com, and Learning Portal. We wanted to unify the sign-in and registration experience across Okta's Web Resources. This update delivers an enhanced experience by providing:

One-time registration for accessing everything Okta - your Identity.

The same streamlined sign-in user experience (UX) for our Okta Web Resources. The trusted Okta experience that everyone talks about!

The ability for anyone to register for a free sign-in account!
What does this mean?
If you are a newcomer to Okta's web resources, an existing customer, or professional services looking for training, you will be able to sign-in to any of those web resources using a single account. This makes the customer experience easy and convenient without sacrificing security as you move across Okta's services.
For newcomers, you automatically have the enhanced sign-in experience after creating an identity.
For existing customers who have already created a free account by registering with one of the sites listed above, you will receive a password reset email from the system. Once your free account password has been reset, the enhanced sign-in experience begins!
*This change has no impact on customer portal environments or sign-in credentials associated with customer environments.
